Healthy Green Smoothie


This is smoothie is super delicious, great for your health and really easy to make, it only takes 5 minutes. Perfect for breakfast to kick start your day, post workout or an excellent snack meal. 



Ingredients -
  • 1 apple or pear (peeled)
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 large cup of leafy greans (spinach, kale or silverbeet will work)
  • 1/2 an avocado
  • 1 inch ginger (or more if you are in the mood)
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 &1/2 cup cold water
  • handful of ice
Optional super charger -
  • 1 tbsp psyllium husk
  • 1 tsp maca powder
  • 1 tsp hemp oil
Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until combined. Enjoy!
